How to Use Look Around in Apple Maps: A Step-by-Step Guide
Apple Maps has a cool feature called Look Around, which lets you explore street-level views in supported cities. Here’s how you can use it:
1. Open Apple Maps
Launch the Apple Maps app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Search for an Address
In the search bar, type an address or a location you want to explore.
Note: Look Around is only available in certain cities, so check if your location supports it.
3. Look for the Binocular Icon
If Look Around is available, you’ll see a binocular icon (a pair of glasses) on the screen.
Tap the binocular icon to activate the feature.
4. Explore the Area
Once you tap the icon, a 360-degree view of the street will appear.
Swipe around on the screen to look around.
Tap on the street/path ahead to move forward or follow the path.
5. Use Fullscreen Mode
For a better experience, tap the double-arrow icon to expand the view to full screen.
This will also show a compass to help you navigate in the right direction.
6. Finish and Exit
When you’re done, tap Done to exit Look Around and return to the map.
