OPPO is gearing up to launch the Find N5 foldable phone globally on February 20th. It is expected to launch globally as the OnePlus Open 2. The brand has been teasing key details of the upcoming offering since the last few weeks. As the launch date draws closer, more specifications and features of the Find N5 have now been confirmed including its battery capacity and AI integration.
The OPPO Find N5 will be debuting as the world’s first foldable phone powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
It is confirmed to be backed by a 5,600mAh battery unit which is again the first in the foldable phone market. The Find N3 had a 4,805mAh cell under the hood.
OPPO Find N5: what we know so far
Past teasers of the Find N5 have confirmed IPX9 certification, a 50W wireless charging, and a 3D titanium alloy hinge. In China, it will also be available in a Twilight Purple colour. A pre-order listing of the foldable phone on OPPO’s China website reveals three RAM and storage configurations – 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB.
We can expect the OnePlus Open 2 to have the same specifications as the Find N5 albiet a few differences. Their predecessors were announced at CNY 9,999 (~Rs 1,45,395)/Rs 1,39,999.
