2. AI-Powered Spam Alert in 10 Indian Languages

Airtel expands its AI spam detection tool to support 10 regional languages:

Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Users now get real-time alerts for spam calls and SMS in their preferred language, plus English.

This makes mobile use safer and more user-friendly, especially for non-English speakers.

3. TRAI Pushes for 5-Year Satellite Spectrum Access

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) recommends a 5-year allocation for satellite internet spectrum.

This supports the upcoming launch of Starlink (by SpaceX) and other satellite ISPs in India.
